The 1951 Society recognizes physicians who support Athens-Limestone Hospital through charitable giving, community leadership and a shared commitment to strengthening patient care. Membership in the 1951 Society is open to current and retired physicians who support the Athens-Limestone Hospital Foundation through charitable giving. Physicians qualify through annual or cumulative gifts of $2,500 or more and are recognized as 1951 Society members during the following year in appreciation of their commitment to supporting local healthcare and patient care initiatives.
