The DAISY Award^® is an international recognition program supported by the DAISY Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the extraordinary, compassionate care nurses provide patients and families every day. 

At Helen Keller Hospital, nurses may be nominated by patients, families and colleagues. Award recipients are selected by a hospital committee and recognized for their commitment to excellence in patient care. 

If a nurse made a difference in your experience, we encourage you to submit a nomination in their honor. 

Just as a DAISY relies on the support of the BEE to grow, nurses depend on the teamwork and dedication of other health care professionals. The BEE Award recognizes non-nursing caregivers who play a vital role in supporting patient care at Helen Keller Hospital. 

Anyone who contributes to patient care — including staff, team members and support personnel — may be nominated. Nominations may be submitted by patients, families and colleagues.
