Nutritious meals play an important role in healing and recovery. At Highlands Medical Center, both patients and visitors have access to convenient, high-quality dining options.
Patient Meals

Patient meal times vary depending on your care schedule and room location. Your care team will provide details and assist with any dietary needs during your stay.

Highlands Café

Visitors and guests are invited to dine at the Highlands Café, located on the first floor in the main lobby. The café offers a variety of fresh, healthy, and affordable meals prepared by our Nutrition Services team in a comfortable, restaurant-style setting.

  • Kitchen Crafted Station with hot entrées
  • Salad bar station
  • Grab-and-go snacks and beverages

Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday
Breakfast: 7 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Dinner options are available through select café offerings and grab-and-go items. Vending machines with snacks and beverages are also available at all times in the main lobby.

What To Bring For Your Hospital Stay

Please come prepared with your insurance card(s), a valid photo ID, a list of current medications, and any personal items needed for your stay, such as toiletries and sleepwear.

For your safety, we recommend leaving valuables, jewelry, and large amounts of cash at home. If needed, limited arrangements may be available to secure essential items. The hospital cannot be responsible for personal belongings left in patient rooms, so please take care to keep track of items such as eyeglasses, dentures, and clothing.

For safety reasons, personal electrical appliances such as hair dryers, electric blankets, and radios are not permitted.
