Now in its 30th year, CHI supports nonprofit partners working to address some of the community’s most pressing health needs, including mental health, medication assistance, dental care and chronic disease support. Together, these organizations help meet critical needs and strengthen the health of communities across North Alabama.

Community Health Initiative launched in 1996. Since that time, CHI has invested nearly $15 million in more than 50 nonprofit organizations working to improve health, support underserved populations and strengthen quality of life across our community.
