Huntsville Hospital has been named one of Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces in Health Care 2026, a national ranking of health care organizations that support their employees and create opportunities for them to grow and succeed.

This honor reflects more than 11,000 employees who care for patients and families at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children, and Madison Hospital. From nurses and physicians to environmental services, food and nutrition, therapists, registration staff and countless others, each team member plays an important role in delivering care around the clock.

The Newsweek ranking is presented in partnership with Plant-A Insights Group and is based on an independent evaluation that includes employee feedback, publicly available data and workplace reviews. Organizations are evaluated on factors including leadership, compensation, work-life balance, training and career development.

Newsweek Editor-in-Chief Jennifer H. Cunningham said the recognition comes at a time when health care organizations are continuing to rethink how they support their workforce.
