The DAISY Award®

for Extraordinary Nurses

The DAISY Award® is an international recognition program supported by the DAISY Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the extraordinary, compassionate care nurses provide patients and families every day.

At Red Bay Hospital, nurses can be nominated by patients, family members, and fellow team members. A hospital committee reviews nominations and honors those who demonstrate exceptional dedication to providing high-quality patient care.

The BEE Award

Just as a DAISY relies on the support of the BEE to grow, nurses depend on the teamwork and dedication of other health care professionals. The BEE Award recognizes non-nursing caregivers who play a vital role in supporting patient care at Red Bay Hospital

Anyone who contributes to patient care — including staff, team members and support personnel — may be nominated. Nominations may be submitted by patients, families and colleagues.

When submitting a nomination, we encourage you to share a specific story or moment that highlights how this individual made a meaningful impact during your experience.
